Growing mushrooms at home. It really came out!
I am Kimura from northern Tokyo. My room is small.
It is a limited space, but I enjoy growing plants there.
Today I tried a mushroom growing kit that I received and I would like to introduce it to you.
(I don’t know the word, but “room” in mushroom means room? Does it matter?)
Let’s start growing mushrooms right away.
This is a picture of the grow kit after it has been opened.
It is a small box about 10 cm long.

A set of pre-required items is included.

Just a simple matter of putting it in the box and you are ready to go.
(Sorry the picture is so small)
The mushroom block (mycorrhiza) seems to be where the mushroom fungus lives,
This is where the mushroom fungus is grown while trying to keep it from drying out.
The box is covered with a plastic bag of just the right size, probably to prevent it from drying out.
This is what it actually looks like.

It is covered with transparent vinyl so you can see inside well.
It is good because you can observe it well even for the first time.
I sprayed water with a mist to prevent the surface from drying out.
Mushrooms are living things.
I had never given it much thought, but mushrooms are living things.
So, in addition to watering, you need to pay attention to room temperature.
In other words,
If you know the temperature in the room, it may be easier to grow.
To grow mushrooms
First, the temperature at which to increase the fungus (20°C or higher)
Once increased, the mushrooms sprout (below 18°C)
(The actual instruction manual gives more detailed temperature control instructions.)
The difference in temperature is important for mushroom activity.
In our house, on a good day, the temperature on the windowsill exceeds 20°C.
We grow the fungus on this windowsill.
Then we moved it to a slightly colder place where it is not exposed to the sun to germinate.
I have only one,

but I was so happy that I decided to blog about it.
When I get a few more, I’m going to try them in a salad.
[…] We have introduced mushroom cultivation on our blog last time as well. Take a look if you like! […]
