I didn’t know leap years were universal.année bissextile año bisiesto schaltjahr

Hello. This is Kimura from Tokyo.
This year is a leap year; February runs until the 29th.
So I’m not sure if that affects me in any particular way.
Today’s blog will be just a soliloquy. It will not be an introduction to the charms of northern Tokyo.

Am I the only one who didn’t know?

I recently started this blog and have been thinking more and more about comparisons to other countries.
Just now, I was thinking that today is a leap year…,
I wondered how leap years are in other countries. I searched for it.

Then I learned that in the Gregorian calendar, a year has 365 days and a leap year occurs once every four years.
    In French, “année bissextile.”
    año bisiesto” in Spanish
    Schaltjahr” in German
    Leap year” in English
It seems that the word “leap year” is used.

Do you know of any countries that read this blog that have anything different when it’s a leap year?
If you like, please comment on this blog or on Instagram!

As for me, I don’t see how a leap year affects me in any way.
Also, imagine what kind of people it affects, or ask Ai,
I didn’t think it would affect me that much.
I mean in a minor way,
Would someone working a month’s salary get to work one day more?
If you work hourly, do you make a day more?
Well, none of those things have that big of an impact, w

This blog was really just a musing.

I think that Japan is rather lively with various events.
Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Christmas. I think there is something more…
But in leap year, there is not so much excitement.

    If I were in business, I might organize a leap year-only event…
    Oh, but no.
Once every four years is not good business.lol

I hope this blog will still be around in 4 years.
