Trying out a solar panel I got from Furusato tax payment.
This is Kimura.
It snowed in Tokyo, which is unusual for March. Temperatures are still low this morning, and although it is still cold, the sunshine is gradually giving off a springtime feel. Also, windy days will continue for a few days and then the temperature will rise.
Temperatures are still low, but it is warmer where the sun shines. Since I’m here today, I want to try out the solar panels I recently got from my hometown. I will try to generate electricity in the park.

Can you charge the battery with a small solar panel?
The time is 12:00. The park is unobstructed by buildings, and the entire surface of the solar panels is receiving the sun’s rays.
My iphone battery is at 49% and I am tethering my ipad!
How much charge will this give me?

I bought a USB type current measuring device, so I looked at it,
It seems that about 5V 0.7A is being generated.
According to the manufacturer’s website, the solar panel can charge an iPhone in 2.5 hours if the sun is shining, and it is certainly generating power at a pace close to that.
It has exceeded 70% in one hour.
We will continue to utilize the solar panels for various things and live earth-friendly.
How to get solar panels at a discount. What is Hometown(Furusato) Tax Payment?
Furusato tax payment is a system under which you can make a donation to the region of your choice and have it deducted from your income tax and inhabitant tax. By making a donation, you can support the development and promotion of the region. In addition, you can also receive a gift or service as a thank-you for your donation. Although there are some caveats, this is a system in which the actual burden is only 2,000 yen and you can receive thank-you gifts and other benefits.
Furusato tax payment is available to those who live and work in Japan and pay income tax and inhabitant tax. Please note that there is an upper limit to the amount of donation that can be deducted from your taxes, and it depends on your income and family situation.
In addition, tax returns must be filed in order to receive the deduction. For details on the Furusato tax donation system and the calculation method, please refer to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications or Rakuten Furusato Tax website.
If you are eligible, why not consider taking advantage of this system?
It may be a good opportunity to learn about local specialties from all over Japan.
Or, you can also use a character product.
There are countless local characters throughout Japan.
The characters promote the area.
(Is “local” properly translated? I mean all regions of Japan.)
For example, there is a character in the area where Mt.
Fuji, called “Fuji-chan.
Another easy-to-understand place is Ehime Prefecture. If you were Japanese, you would immediately associate this place with mandarin oranges. So there is a character “Mikyan” who is associated with it.
The character I recommend is “オカざえもん = okazaemon” from a region called Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. Can your smart phones search in Japan? If you can, please try searching. I think you will find a picture of a very unique character!
