Eating frozenfood udon. Today, it’s “Houtou Udon.

My name is Kimura and I live in northern Tokyo.
Today it is a hassle to cook a meal, so let’s eat frozenfood.
    Let’s eat hot udon.
    I bought “Houtou Udon!

    What is frozenfood Hoto udon?

Hoto Udon” is a local dish of Yamanashi Prefecture, located southwest of Tokyo. Yamanashi Prefecture is an attractive region with beautiful mountains such as Mt.
Hoto Udon is characterized by flat noodles and soup with pumpkin and mushrooms, and is said to be cooked in a large pot as shown in the package photo.

    Let’s open the package immediately!
The noodles and ingredients are frozen solid.

The pumpkin and mushrooms are large in size.

It is very easy to make.
Simply remove the bag and put it directly into the pot to heat up. The package also indicates this.
そのまま温めるだけ = Just heat it up as it is

This product does not require water!
This product contains frozen noodles, ingredients, and soup!
So there is no need to add water. It’s that easy!

Just put it in a pot and heat it up.
There are detailed instructions on the back of the package.
The soup will dissolve in about 30 seconds over low heat.
On high heat for about 7 minutes and 30 seconds to loosen the noodles and ingredients.
Cook on high heat for about 30 seconds.
This seems to do it well.

I only started with low heat at first, and when the soup dissolved, I cooked it over high heat to complete the process.

The noodles are very thick! They are also delicious!

Supermarkets sell many different types of frozen noodles.

The frozen udon noodles I introduced today were in the 300 yen range, I think. I forgot the price!
I am very grateful for the affordable price.

I would like those who are going to work in Japan or come here on vacation to experience the quality of Japanese frozen food at least once.
Not only udon, but also ramen, fried rice, soba, and many other frozen foods can be found in supermarkets.
