Kimura's blog in Tokyo

Soki Soba instant ramen was on sale.

I am Kimura, living in the northern part of Tokyo. I have previously introduced you to the frozen food Soki Soba, but now Soki Soba is also available in instant ramen. I also recommend Soki Soba, which is a local dish of Okinawa, and I guess it is very popular. If anyone is traveling in Japan, please try to buy some as souvenirs.

You can also read my previous blog on frozen Soki Soba if you like!

I found instant noodle soki saba.

Far away from Tokyo, there is Okinawa. As most travelers to Japan know, Okinawa is a popular tourist destination for Japanese people because of its beautiful ocean, mild climate, and unique culture.

Okinawa has many attractions, but the food is also noteworthy. Recently, you can find Okinawan restaurants in Tokyo, and you can also find Okinawan specials in convenience stores and supermarkets. Among them, the most typical Okinawan dish is Soki Soba.

    Let’s try it right away!

I noticed after writing this blog that the package does not say “Soki Soba” on it. I noticed that it doesn’t say “Soki Soba” on the package. I checked it out, and it seems to be said differently for different toppings. To be precise, “Soki” in “Soki Soba” means spare ribs in Okinawan dialect. This time, I will introduce it as Okinawa soba ≒ Soki soba!

When you open the lid, you will find the ingredients just like a regular cup ramen. The ingredients are chashu pork, egg, fish paste, green onion, red ginger, and bonito broth.

Steam clouds the camera. The color of the soup is not as dark as ramen, but the broth is very tasty. And the thick, flat noodles are a delicious part of it.

Shichimi (seven spices) also makes an appearance here!

I put shichimi on many dishes. It goes well. I put shichimi on beef bowls, soba noodles, udon noodles, and many other dishes. How about some shichimi as a souvenir from your trip to Japan?

This product has a limited quantity on the package. It is a pity that this product is not always on sale. I bought it at “My Basket,” a small supermarket that is plentiful in my area. There are also many stores in the Ikebukuro area, which is frequented by tourists. If you see one, why not stop by?
